A couple of weeks ago I went to IMAC and when I came back I came back to a fully crashed tank:(. So well I picked myself up and went and bought everything to the highest quality. The last tank, the 120 was bought with the cheapest.

So just as the title says I got my new 210 gallon fish tank!

My equipment:
1 - 210gal AGA Tank
1 - Black Oak Stand
1 - Oceanic Sump 3
1 - Red Dragon 8 Pump
1 - GroTech 200 Skimmer
1 - GroTech 150 Calcium Reactor
1 - Deltec EcoChiller
1 - Deltec Kalk Reactor
3 - Deltec Fluidized Reactors

Lighting:
3 - Lumenarc IIIs - 400watt MH 20K
2 - T5s 15K 72" long

I will update the list when new things come in.

What do you think? Pics will be coming soon.

Philip

I would go with 250 watt lights. the 400's aren't really needed. I think you will prob. need more flow. the aga overflow is only rated at 1200gph. you might look in to the tunze streams

Man that sucks to lose a tank. At least you get to set up a new one if that makes you feel any better:rolleyes:

Good Luck. I love the equipment list.

Yes, losing that tank was horrible, losing my prized red sea sailfin, solomon's island wrasse, ect. But it was bound to happen, the setup was done as cheap as possible and well I should have known better. But this new tank is all the best of the best, so if I stay on top of the tank it should be just fine and have no more accidents.

There is a saying out there:
"Those who have had it happen, and the ones who will have it happen"

Did you ever find out what caused your tank to crash

Yes, I was a mix of a tank sitter and dumb decisions that caused it. The tank sitter didn't top off the tank water so the main pump went dry, and when I got back I had some live stock and no where to put it. So I put it in the tank after it not being very stable. Thats how...

Tagging along too. Good Luck! And what are you going to do with the 120 by the way, use it as a sump for the 210?

Sorry about your loss. Atleast your not calling it quits. The new tank sounds sweet. I'm in the middle of setting up a 210 and should hopefully have rock in it next weekend. What bulbs and ballasts are you using?

Way to turn a bummer into a better experience. If we all had your fortitude, there would be alot of 500 gallon tanks.

Post the pics soon and good luck with the new 210!

Hey everyone I have a few quick questions:

Fish list
1 Mystery Wrasse
2 Leopard Wrasses
2 Yellow Tangs
1 Purple Tang (already have)
1 Lamarks Angel (already have)
9 Green Chromis
1 Vlamingi Tang (already have)
1 Desjardini Sailfin Tang
2 Lineatus Fairy Wrasses
2 Flasher Fairy Wrasses
2 Onyx Clowns
An assortment of Gobies and Blennies

How many fish would you put in at a time, one or two?

How long between new arrivals?

How long in the QT?

What order do you think they should go in?

Do you think this is a good list?

I'm not really one to talk because I feel my tank might be considered overstocked but that seems like a lot of fish.

Tagging along here...

That is one nice setup! Love ---- **LOVE** the equipment. WOW. What did this setup cost, without livestock?

I'm aming for the two GEO's, but the Deltec stuff you have is a bank killer.
