My new 75g setup

So it has been a few years since I last had a reef tank or any tank for that matter. I ended up moving from my old apartment into a more quiet and laid back neighborhood into a good sized townhouse. This , place seemed perfect for a reef tank so after living here for a few years I said "what the heck, why not?" and started the process of setting up my 75g reef tank.

The tank is a deep blue pro 75g rimless with 1 inch drain and a 3/4 return. The front and sides are low iron glass and looks pretty good. The stand is also deep blue and holds up pretty well with a fully filled and with live rock and sand. The only thing I don't like about it is that the door has a grey spacer in between so that I can't get a full view of the refugium as I would like.

I ordered all of my equipment over a period of about 2-3 years because for awhile I wasn't sure if I wanted to get back into reefing. I believe I remembered more of the bad stuff than the good like red flat worms, gha, and other negatives of the hobby. My last tank was somewhat of an experimental mine field. From pest to livestock incompatibilities and me just rushing things that should not have been rushed . I've since learned from my mistakes and now he a feeling of being ableto wait and resist the horrible impulse buys I used to do alot at fish stores and online. Now that I look back at it my old tank was a mess.

Lol, bad I know but, that was just how bad I wanted to have a tank. So after a few years and a few buys and more reading and patience this is what I have now. Most of my equipment is in my signature and I kinda feel like I've come a long way from my old tank. I correctly cycled my rock that I purchased from brs a few years back (about 60 or 70 lbs of it) and seeded it with a piece of live rock from pet and aquatic warehouse. So far this is the set up...

I also have a coral beauty but it's hard to get a good shot of him.

So far everything is running well and my tank has just gotten over an green algae bloom that was on the glass and free floating. I do plan in the future to get a Leopard or melanurus wrasse but, only after the tank has become more established with copepod and other sites of critters. I have alot more patientce now when it comes to this tank and am willing to wait for results instead of looking for them right away.
