Got a pair of Watanabei angels this week. The female is still pretty shy, so no pics of her. But the big boy comes out quite a bit now. He just won't sit still!! But you get the idea...

Just an update...
I am sad to report that my angels passed a couple days after the power outage. One by one, I lost several--but not all--of my fish.
First the male Watanabei, then the female. then 1 of my 3 firefish, and my seemingly very healthy convict tang.
I'm pretty much back to square one with stocking the tank. I'm very disappointed, to say the least. So at this point, a clown and 2 firefish are sharing 250g of water. ugh!

Man, I'm sorry to hear that... I guess this reminds us how fragile marine creatures can be. Ironically, there is an article in this month's Marine Fish and Reef about what one can do in the event of a power outage. They have some interesting points, such as using cordless drill and a paint stirrer to oxygenate the water. I'd be happy to share more of the article if people are interested...

Bummer, sorry to hear that. Those were pretty fish. That is why I'm so apprehensive about buying cool/expensive fish.
