nice blasto. Last weekend I got some blasto from sharkys.. and today I just picked up a nice peice of blasto from Coral Paradise in Arlington Heights IL today hes having a sale 25% off all corals.. so I got it at a good price.. I'll post a pic when i finish acclimating.
 
bright red. I was originally going to get the red blasto peice on the site.. its marked sold the large peice for $140.00 I got there and it wasnt looking so hot so I decided on a smaller peice of the same variety in which im very happy w... Of course now this week they're on "special" so they're a little cheaper..

Oh well lol I'll get a pic later today of both.. sorry I promised a pic and havent put it up.. I lost the battery to my digi cam so I have to ask my neighbors if I could borrow their cam to snap some shots..

The one that I got from coral paradise is maroon w/ bright green center and then back to maroon and then a thin jagged stripe of green.. its very different then any i've seen so i had to have it.. plus it was 25% off how could I pass up a deal like that? LOL

They also have a gorgeous LARGE PPE rock like the one your getting from sharkys at coral paradise for $150 which is pretty darn reasonable if you ask me considering the amount of polyps..

My next blasto I get will be BRIGHT red outside w/ the bright green center.. I've seen it everywhere and sharkys has a nice peice now but I think im going to wait for a larger piece.. Its a common variety so i'm sure i'll find a nice one sooner or later..
 
I had the bright red rim with green centers blasto from Sharkys before. It wasn't the healthiest one I've ever seen and it died on me about 2 weeks after I got it. No worries because I got it and the other 2 in the "Buy 2 Blasto's get 1 free" sale, so I didn't loose anything. I actually ordered a Merletti beforehand but when I got there it was to big for my tank so I picked out the one that died on me, I sure know how to pick them. Oh well :)

I have the PPE Blasto in the tank, will get some shots of it and the other frags I got today. I ordered a Florida Ric from them and when I picked it up it was kinda sad looking. Anita found a better one and talked me into it, how cool is that. They are the best to deal with.

I did see another smaller piece of the PPE Blasto at Sharkys, maybe 2-3 heads. Not on the site yet, maybe the next Members update on Tuesday night???

Major announcement about Sharkys is going to be posted on their website soon (Good news for us locals) :)
 
oh ya? Do you know the news? They were telling me there was going to be alot of changes for us locals but they wouldnt tell me what.. PM me if u know :D
 
I have a couple of blasto merletti frags in my tank but not wellsis yet. Definitely going to consider wellsis in the future. They're just real pretty.
