Picked this guy up for $70. Before anyone asks I work at a LFS and get a discount. Im trying to get him to find a home forhimself in my tank, but he seems to be having a bit of difficulty. Hopefully he will take up a spot I made for him with some rubble today.

Give it some time. It took mine almost a week and alot of digging before settling in and finding the right place. Beautiful fish Btw. How much does your store them for?

civicss1 - -Thanks.

Jcar1 -- The store, GoFish Aquariums (Formerly Chicago Aquatics) normally has them for $99.

Thats what I figured about him settling in. Ive only had him for 3-4 days now. He seems like he has found a few spots he kinda likes. Thats where I threw the rubble. I have a royal gramma that pretty much has claimed the entire left side of the tank though. That was the issue before, now that hes realized there is another side of the tank he seems a bit less stressed.

Fishman350 -- Thanks, and no problem on the pictures! Photobucket makes it real easy to post images in things. If you noticed the 3 boxes below each picture, use the last one. Copy and past that into your thread and the image will appear. You dont have to do anything else. Just copy and paste.

bigbadbasile - Yup thats the store. As of friday, they had one still in the store. But if thats gone, they usually have them in stock so give it a week and im sure they will have more. If you make it there and its gone, let me know and ill post when they get more in.

The image is a bit off, his spots arent purplish, they are straight up bright neon blue. Really neat, the camera had a hard time picking up the true colors.

Jcar1 - My SB is about 3" maybe a bit more, all of it is Sugar size. But what happend was I had a BB tank and then added sand. So all of my rock was hoisted up with clear acrylic rod. So when I added the sand, there are alot of parts that arent deep behind my rocks. The only real deep part is where the rock isnt. Ive been trying to add more to cover up behind the rocks but its been a challenge and a slow process.

The good news is that there are a ton of premade crevises for him to go into. He just needs to fill alot of it with sand. I just added some coral rubble and LR rubble to the front of some of the holes to see if he likes it.

Good to hear. Aren't they hilarious fish? I love the blue spot, I have the pearly. I am going to contact you in a month because I want one for my other tank.

Yeah they are definetly neat. Although im not to sure if I like the new house he picked out. Im worried about what that coral rubble will do to my brain when it opens. If it opens and its not aggitated.
