I have never seen a carpet this color before. I bought it from reefworks and it is gorgeous.

He is sticky and mounted himself within 3 inches of where I wanted him. This picture does him no justice either...he is more turqoise then that, almost like the turqoise on the 20000 leagues lokani!!!

Becca, now that I am staying in the hobby I am going to have to ask you for my fish back...lol. How is the little guy doing??

yeah i looked at the nem myself what a cool color huh? kinda like a brite speermint green..allmost has lika hint of blue in it.. nice score!

Chris - Thanks he is awesome looking. I am going to have to keep the 10000 K MH. It looks white under the actinics.

Lusenut - You seriously need to get out to that store. Chris has some great stuff in there for great prices.

Sharktreef - thats a good way to describe it...almost to the color of turqoise.

Becca - Post some updated pics of him, glad your happy with him

He is eating on his second day in the tank...now if only my clowns would host it, I would be the happiest person in the world

Your. S. Haddoni is bleached...it shouldn't stay that color too long if its under strong lighting and you're feeding it everyother day or so. I bought an anemone similar to that color and after two weeks it colored up nicely for me. Besides the fact that you bought it bleached, nice Haddoni.

man you beat me too it.im at reefworks almost every week and the last few times i seen it there.i kept telling myself..maybe it will still be there by the time a set up my 125.i guees it didnt happen.i hope u enjoy it..it is beautiful.

Hey, i got my carpet from Reefworks and it is the same color...it is AWESOME, i love it, and i agree, the pics i take of it do it no justice....congrats ddue, you will love it

+1

I think he may be bleached also. Should look like this when it gains its color back. Let us know in a few weeks on the color...I could be totally wrong though! Is it under Metal Halide now? The thing I like about these anemones is that they usually stay put and you dont have to worry too much about them climbing your rocks.

These carpets are not bleached...they are a really cool aqua color and they are supposed to be. The carpet in this thread was bought over 2 months ago (old thread brought back) and it is still doing awesome. Still retains the same color, is eating great, and all of these anemones are so sticky that you have to dangle you hand in the tank for about 10 minutes with them until they let go. It starts to sting a little. I also sold one to Seth just like it like he said he likes it. Mike, I still have the one in the store if you want it....Eating good, and extremely sticky.

No anemone should be white in color, when it is white in color that means it is bleached and lost its pigmentation.

There is one good thing though and that if its sticky thats a good sign. MAke sure you feed your carpet every other day and it should in return color up.

Ok. Just one question. What kind of lighting are they under at the shop?

His anemone and the one in the store arent white. The one in the store is a beautiful aqua like Chris said, and is very sticky and healthy. Someone needs to go buy that nem!
