My new Clam

This is my new and first clam. An absolute beauty. Purple, Blue and Green, But the Green can only be seen from certain angles.

Also is it a Crocea? I think it is. Here is a pic of the shell closed.

I think your right,Maximas have a more rigid shell and not as smooth.Also the Crocea I seen at my LFS last week looked exactly like that,Green from the top and blue from the side.

That was just after I placed it in the tank. Otherwise ever since I got it has been open. That is the only pic of the shell closed that I have.
