My new Favorite

I just bought this open brain at the LFS for only 45 bucks. I think i got a steal and he's my new favorite in the tank. But does anyone have a proper ID of this fine specimen? The store said it was a "metallic dome brain" but i wasn't able to find much on him.

Love him though!

Also, will he be okay epoxied to this rock? i have heard that people generally place them on the sand bed, but i love him here, will he be alright?

I cant help with an id but ive read a few times that if the putty is contacting the flesh of the coral it will irritate it. I dont personally own a brain coral, just what ive read.

From what i could see from close examination, the putty is not touching the flesh, and if it is, it is VERY VERY minimal.
