Hes about 25-30" long fully stretched out. I told myself if I could get him to eat id take him home and yesterday he took down his first ghost shrimp. Hes currently in my 29g with my lions

I'm sure you know this but make sure your tank is completely sealed. Mine was always out and active and I loved it, but somehow she got down into my sump (through a maze of pvc piping, and covers, but then got in a fight with the return pump. Very nice eels. Congrats.

Ya i can already tell hes gonna be a jumper. Last night he was flying around the tank. I've already made some safeguards out of eggcrate and pond mesh to keep him from escaping.

I love my ghost eel watching them eat is so cool. Good luck! What are you feeding him? I'm using small frozen krill on a fishing line threaded through an acrilic tube. Works great.

I got him eating ghost shrimp at the shop i work at. I haven't even had him for 24 hours so he hasn't been fed yet. Hes taking down live so it probably won't be a stretch to get him eating frozen. So far hes doing great. My lions really don't know what to make of him, my fu was terrified of him.
