My new Green Haddoni

OrionN

Moved on
Before Christmas, I traded 20 Xenia start for a small Haddoni. Apparently this Haddoni have been at the wholesaler for a while (The LFS know that there is a small green Haddoni at the wholesaler so she ordered it for me). I asked them to delay shipping until after Christmas.
Anyway, it arrived to the LFS Thursday and wnt in to look at it. I was told that it was fully inflated all day Friday, but after work when I came it it was fully deflated and gaping open mouth. I did not have a camera with me so I did not take the picture. Since this is mine, dead or alive, I took it home to try to treat it. I have a hospital tank already, but not fill with water.
I put him in the hospital tank and added 250 mg Cipro/10 gal of water. I have to go out of town and this morning I came back and check on the anemone. Here are some pictures from this AM. I did a 5 g water change but did not add any antibiotic. I will not treat him further unless he start to deflate again. Did her needed treatment? I don know but I was not going to loose him if I can do anything about it. :). If he does well for the next few days I will tank him out of treatment tank.

He is somewhat yellow right now due to been a little bleached. His tentacles are also a little short but seem OK otherwise at this time. Hope he will turn bright green with good light and condition. He is very small. I was told he was about 4 inches but in the treatment tank, he measured about 5-6 inches.

Here are the pictures

Nice pickup. Glad you administer the meds when you did looks like it is doing much better.

Thanks to you my bleached gig is doing a whole lot better. I had to search amongst friends for that med because I wasn't planning to go into the clinic. This med does work. I only did a three day treatment. Wish I would of known about the meds when I had my blue gig a few months ago. I could of saved it.

Thanks Nemo and Daniel.
Update picture today still in the treatment tank. No antibiotic since Friday. I have not seen him deflated yet after the antibiotic treatment dose on Friday.

Rapide,
IME, Yellow Haddoni are green ones that bleached. Brighter the yellow, brighter the green when it finally get healthy. I am hopeing that my greeniish yellow carpet will turn bright green. I am happy with the color but know that it will not stay this color. I think I really be happy when it finally gain full healthy and full color back.

Got him all settle and into my DT. It is only a Aquapod 24 with another Haddoni in it, my Blue Haddoni. Here is a picture from today. Both was under direct full sun plus 150 W DE MH 10,000K. In person, it look a lot brighter, more like my last picture above. I love the red lip of this anemone. I have not clean the front gladd in months so sorry for the dirty glass.

Thanks everybody.

Lovely anemones. I think those two colors look great together. Do you have clowns for them? ;)

Not at this time. I use to have a wild caught Onyx in this tank but I sold that pair. Maybe I am going to put some of my babies in here in the future.

E.intheC,
He is doign very well. Not ime to really try to get picture for update.

velvetelvis,
My wife complains. she would like for some of the system to be gone. I have 7 aquarriums but 4 of which in two systems, not counting the quarantine and the fry tanks and the rotifer tanks

7 tanks to take care of, no time to just sit back, relax and actually enjoy the tank? :)

i used to have 3 systems, but then one day i realized i spend more time doing this and that between them and decided to take 2 down and keep the main display. eversince i have more time to actually enjoy everything and admire them more. :D
