I almost bought that last night .....lol

Salty got a MASSIVE shipment in last night, and we stood and waited while they unloaded all the clams. I still liked this one the most, because I already had two Croceas.

Tswifty8, Where did you get your clams? i have been looking for a place to get some nice ones like yours.
I got the Derasa from Salty Critter.

The others are from Elmer's Aquarium in Monroeville, PA. My g/f is from Pittsburgh, and usually stops by to check out what they have before she comes out here. She found both the Crocea's there.

I'm using a 250 watt PFO Mini-Pendant with an Aqualine AB 10,000K DE bulb.

Thanks I'm really happy with it. Keith (DEERE G) did an amazing job building it.

Picked up a new bulb yesterday...

New Coral... ORA Joe the Coral.

Tried take a little of the blue out. The 20k bulb makes it a little more difficult to get good picture representations of the corals.

It's gonna take some getting used to. It really pops all the corals colors though. Especially all the ORA multicolored stuff, but I think I liked the clams better under the 10k.

Honestly it's pretty close to the colors I was getting under my T5's, except without the overpowering blue tint to everything.

I shattered the 10k bulb pulling it out though, so it's 20k or nothing now.

Thanks... I gave up for tonight. I took about 25 shots of the tank, and didn't like any of them. :rolleye1:

I need to pick up some sort of scraper tomorrow though, I have coraline starting to grow like crazy, and the sponge wont get it.

Yeah and the water might be able to cool it down from all the swiping it got the other day.

I might go pick up a kent marine scraper or something... Marc said he knew of some scraper, but I never asked him the brand or where I could find it.

Hey Sean... I definitely see the baby blue polyps that the purple montipora is popping out now with the 20k light! :eek2:

It's a really nice contrast, especially next to the white bleach spot left from the kalk bomb.
