Seen this guy at....Petco. Employee said he's been there for over 2 months. So I figured. While my 210 is finishing up cycling I'd rehab him.

He's been through a round of Cipro. The sexy shrimp in this pic came home with him in his mouth. The guy said the shrimp crawled out of his tank to be with the carpet two months ago. Couldn't find the shrimp when it was time to go home. When I got him in HT tank water, he popped out.
This is when I added him to my DT. Even though it was the same water I used in the HT, he still opened his mouth a bit

He looks very healthy the less you can see his mouth the better he is :)

Thanks nemguy! Forgot to ask about that one thing. The one thing I intended to post about... From pictures online, it would appear that his mouth should be visible. His, on the other hand, tends to look like a hole. Within 10 minutes he had dug through 4" of sand and stuck to the bottom glass.

He ate a krill like a trooper! His mouth is crazy red. And his hue has seemed to change. He's a brighter green than I thought he'd be. And his oral plate is a purplish color. (Just like in the very first picture up above)

Yours looks very healthy. I found this type of anemone quite easy to keep. Good thing is that they don't move around a lot. Nice pick!

Agree. The main reason a haddoni would move is flow, they do not like a lot of flow. I found that if the flow is strong enough to lift the disc off the substrate they will end up moving

My love/hate relationship with turbo snails.....
Last night a HUGE turbo snail decided it wanted to eat below a frag that was, what I thought, securely in a hole. He knocked the frag with zoas and a small rock, along with himself, on top the anemone. Big guy went ahead and consumed them all. There was nothing I could do. His lips were sealed. I woke up this morning and he pushed out the snail (still alive) and his mouth was open enough to get the rock and frag. He shrunk down and his mouth stayed open a bit. So I nuzzled his foot from the bottom of the aquarium glass and placed him back in my hospital tank to relax. He's slowly coming out of it. I took it for granted that they'd stay put (since they've been there for months) but noooooo. Please learn from my mistakes. The zoas opened up this afternoon. Do you guys think their toxin will hurt the anemone? I feel terrible.

On a side note, I did go to Petco to get freshwater tabs for my son's Betta tank and they got their fish in. Picked this guy up for $11. Came in as a Condy. He's happy in QT right now.
