well today I finally picked up my new peacock mantis named bullet he is about 4 inches long and how residing in a 10 gallon tank I have had the tank cycling for about three weeks now with some hermits and a clown fish in it I took the clown out right before introducing bullet to his new home. Right away he started digging and dumping loads of sand outside of his hole he has a pretty dang good tunnel system going its pretty cool to watch him build his home. Anyways just thought that I would post something up!

No. I looked there one time and they didn't have any. I might go back. My peacock seems to be ignoring the snails and hermits in the tank -- she's quite content with frozen.

They get them in on Thursday afternoon - way in th eback on the right-hand side of the store. If you get some be sure to rinse them WELL, they're dirty little beasts.

out of curiosity what would happen if a peacock mantis was kept in a 10g tank while he was still small... like say around 4 inch's?

i know they need more room then that but there has too be some negative effects that are caused. so besides death what you think they are?

My peacock (currently 1 3/4") lives in a 10 gallon happily. I could see a 4" getting ****ed at his home being so small and trying to expand (I.E. hitting glass)

My peacock is going to live (3") in a tank that is 15"x22"x12" almost 20 gallons and made with 1/2" glass plenty big because it has a lot of surface area

i currently have my peacock in a 10g glass tank right now and she is doing great for the time being. this is just a tempary tank for her until early next year when i get my 120g reef tank then she gets my 30g tank!

my female is about 2 1/2 - 3in right now.
