My New Project!

I am well pleased with my GC's tank and if the budget could swing it I would recomend the tall over a wide any day :) But thats JMO! It does jump the price up conciderably though :(. Nice rockwork ridgline, looks great! Takes a ton of rock to fill them big tanks! You need some nice tangs to cruise the reef now!

Thanks Angela,

I'm working on the Fish part now ..i will keep everyone updated. As of now i have

1 regal tang
1 yellow tang
1 Aust. Sailfin Tang
5 Green Chromis
2 Tomato Clowns (mated pair)

did you paint the overflows? I looked into glass cages, but I HATED the clear glass overflows. I noticed in the last pic, they appear black.

i think in the previous posts, you can see the acrylic covers, in the garage, next to the sump. im assuming there just a snug fit over the glass overflow. when i saw the tank im like wf... is that a sump, but it was just the overflows.

NICE !! very neat setup. use any reactor ?

No reactor yet as I don't have any corals in yet ..I will probably wait untill I get all the fish I want and then start with the corals .

Thanks you to everyone that has commented on the tank

It does look nice filled with lighting.

On a side note... I find it curious how many people positively identified the tank. I would have also identified it as glass cages and have my own reasons for doing so. Without spilling out my reason, how did some of you so positively identify that it was a GC tank? Usually a positive identification as such indicates a positive or negative reaction.
