I have a few suggestions to offer regarding my GC tank and stand/canopy. These are some things I wish I had done that are hard to do now that its setup and running.

paint the inside of stand and canopy.

reinforce the stand so you can cut some ventilation holes in the back. Otherwise you will get mold.

I can't wait to get my Gc's tank. My stand is open backed so hopefully I will not have to worry about moisture problems. Your stain looks great on the stand/canopy! keep us updated!

thanks for the info . The good thing is all my filtration will be on the other side of the wall. The only things that may be in the stand are Lighting Bllasts, Controller and maybe a few other misc things.

It took awhile ..about 3-4 weeks i think ..can't remember for sure
