My new Red Sea 34

Sorry i thought i said no livestock.NOTHING.But the LFS says they are really small. Not 2cm long. I think it might have been an amphipod....

Yeah i didn't even think of them because the bugs were so big. I saw them from a birds eye view and they looked like red rolly pollies. The red backs.

Glad it was only amphipods. I will be adding clownfish this thursday and will try to post updates.

Never mind. I have to add the clowns later. Nitrates are 10ppm,ammonia is 0, and nitrite was hard to read but it was in between .5 and 0 ppm. So if i can get thes under control i am looking at getting the clowns tuesday.I am going to pick out the clowns today and take pics.

Nice tank! I have had my RSM since February. I love the lighting, and the lack of heat that comes with it. I have had some acros and birdnests for a few months now that have kept color and grown at a faster pace then expected.

When nanotuners or someone else makes a halide upgrade I might consider, but it will have to come with t-5 as well to light the ends of the tank. I think halide would be tough to distribute light to the coners with the buld so close to the water.

Glad to hear you like your RSM and it is running smooth.
Actually Nanotuners have a light MOD for the RSM.
Not cheap but looks promising.

Here is the link:
