My new Snowcasso

Those are some amazing pictures. I have a D-90 but might as well have a Polaroid since I have no idea what I'm doing with it. Do you have any tips for a beginner photographer? Are you taking those through the glass or are you using a photo box? How are you lighting the photos and are you using any filters?

Those were all taken through the glass, using a remote SB-800 flash.

That allows me to use the flash at an angle to the glass and avoid having the flash leave a huge white block in the middle of the pictures =)

Im working on a Fish Photography How-To now....should be posted this weekend.
 
surprisingly no, though it does seem to have lessened the stickiness of the tentacles, so im always sure to spot feed them...
