I received some LR a month ago and a Mantis shrimp came with it. Well I wasn't sure what to do with the mantis, but the other day I got a snow flake eel that is about the size of a pencil. The shrimp was about 1.5 long.
I've been hearing the clicking noise from the shrimp, just so happen I was looking at the tank when the eel went nuts, he's chasing the shrimp. Didn't take long for the eel to get him and kill'em. He ended up just leaving it dead, so I scooped it out and flush it.
Guess I don't have to worry about the shrimp problem anymore.
