wow, i have one that is identical to that one. Beautiful fish. Mine is in a 210
Yeah he's a Huge beast!!! Defin need a massive display for that fish.
Tank size being a totally separate issue...
In any case, puffers need aquascaped homes. They have to have someplace to retreat to...even if they are the only fish in the tank. Even if its a rubbermaid bin w' a hole cut in the side or a terra cotta pot from home depot.
Bare bottom can really help w' tank cleaning w' big puffers so you should be okay there...

Right, I just got two nice chunks of LR and i think i will get a pot for the HD this week, Good idea,
