That's awesome Michael. I just set up a solana about two weeks ago as well. LMK, what you think of the sapphire skimmer. I'm thinking of ordering that one or the ER one.

Donny, So far I love the Sapphire skimmer. Broke in well on my old 125 with my 150 gallon sump. Is settling in nicely on the Solana. It is a bit hyperactive now and have to tune it way down. Should settle down in a few days I hope. Their customer service has been excellent.

Awesome, do you know if the sapphire skimmer you have is the old model or the new model?

I am pretty sure it is the new. It has no separate stand that I think was needed on the old. Also I think they switched over a while back and likely do not have old stock sitting around.

Whichever it is, works well.
