My new tank setup

So we have made the jump from a nano to a 75g tank. My question is this, I put about 40lbs of live rock that's been fully cured with coralline algea on it and 40lbs of base incurred live rock. Will my tank go thru a full cycle or will it or should it be a quick one. My live rock looks like it has diatoms all over it but the base is still white. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks!

If the live rock was fully cured/from your old system you shouldn't get much of a cycle.
I moved whole tanks - corals and all - to new ones without much of a problem before.

U should be ok, but ur tank might do just a small cycle

Right now I am reading zero ammonia and nitrate of 0. I just set it up Saturday so I may give it a few more days and check it again before I introduce anything into it.

When I set up my Daughter 8 gallon tank with Live rock and water from my tank, Her tank did a mini cycle within a day or so. The problem was I didn't think about it till I noticed my Frogspawn that I put in her tank didn't look so good - It died ;(

So i would say Yes it will cycle - even just a small one.
