Well as some of you heard Sean took advantage of a tired full member buy luring him back to the shop to get some frozen food that I forgot to get and this is what I left with. Of course giving Joy 2 drinks and me 2 pictures never had anything to do with it but the first pics are what we brought.

Wayne, the snake you bought....I'd say that's a Hogg Island Boa. Does that sound right? Pretty cool snake. And you got pretty one too. Somtimes they are more darker.

I have no clue on the second one but pretty cool snake. I wanna learn more about snakes found in TN so I'll know when I'm in the woods or at the river fishing.

Enjoy that snake!

Looks like a pinesnake to me, but I know VERY little about snakes:

Going by the pictures I would say Northern Pine too.

Thanks for posting that link. I know for a fact the snake we found in our front yard last year was a rat snake. It was the same shade of black and looked exactly like that one. Harmless snake and the neighbors wanted to kill it. Glad I was home to keep them from doin' it. I don't have the heart to kill poisnous snake either though...

Wayne, you can blame it on your little drinks, but I don't drink at all and now have a ball python :)........Just a little play time and information was all it took. But you, Joy and steve are the ones that got me looking :)..

I'll take out every one I see, especially copperheads and cottonmouths (I grew up in Arkansas).....and I realize it's illegal, but there are enough non-poisonous snakes out there to keep the balance. They are the canine's equivalent of the pit bull.
