My new Turquoise Tiger!

Well, I had been looking for one with a pattern like this for awhile for my personal collection- so I had to post a pic!

The picture doesn't do it justice- the turquoise pattern sorta changes from greenish to bluish as you move side to side, depending on the angle. It has a really neat effect!

Spectacular pattern! My turqoise clam does the same thing, it looks blue from different angles. I've seen similar patterns like yours but I think the coloured edging is what really makes yours stand out. Nice clam!!!

I am using a Kodak DC4900. I take the pics at 2500 res (4 MPixel), then resize them as needed.

I like the pattern on this one so much, I took part of this pic and zoomed it in and made it darker- It is now the background on our web pages!

About 2.5" - 3". Just a baby compared to the teardrop!

Yes, I took those through the glass at a downward angle, using flash.

Using flash really helps get an accurate picture of what the clams look like without light temperature skewing the coloration, IMO.

I wish it was easier to get top-down pics in my configuration.
