My New Vortech's came today!!!

Well I ordered two vortechs last week and they arrived today. I just put one in my 70 and all I can say is wow!!!!! The amount of undertow that is created is amazing. I have it set on about half speed, and about 6 inches down from the top of the tank. It is pushing and pulling stuff up of the bottom very nicely(the tank is barebottom). I can't wait to get the controllers for units. Prior to the vortechs I had to koralia 4s, no complaints great product for the price, but from what I see now no comparison in water movement. It also seems to run very quite. I'm also happy to be able to buy from a Pennsylvania Company keep up the good work.

Do they run hot for you?

My frined has had one running full blast for 2 days and that thing is HOT!It so hot I could'nt touch it for more than 2-3 seconds!

It is running pretty hot...It's only at about half speed. I did expect this though I read in the literature that they do run hot. I have it running on the back glass so it's no problem. But once again the flow is fantastic.
