Nice Mysteri,.. i just got one a couple weeks ago and he's the most intersting fish. Always curious whats going on around him. Watching him look around the tank is very amusing. Good luck, as i know he wasn't cheap.

db_triggerfish, as others pointed out...it's a mystery wrasse.

Can mystery Wrasse get along with 6 line wrasses or Mandarins ?

idk about the sixline, i think that mystery might kick its but, there pretty tuff, unless you have one of those super mean sixlines. its hard to say, they may or may not, how many gallons is your tank??

the mandarin shouldnt be a problem at all i would think....


and as for jumping, rob at exotic has had one in his show tank for a long time, as well as robert and larry at eco reef, and neither have had theres jump. both show tanks have no canopy, glass or any other device to prevent jumping.

Tank is a 120g .... That is good to know about the jumping ... i like the open top look and didn't want to go with a darn canopy

Mine jumped into my overflow, so I covered the overflow with acrylic. They will jump, I have 17 wrasses in my tank and is covered by a netting. I have lost a half a dozen through the small holes in the netting, so I doubled the netting and now seem to keep them wet. If their is any way for a wrasse to jump out,, It will.
One more thing, I have seen a six line attack a mystery and eventually kill it. I would be very leary of keeping them together.
