So I made a venture to spokane today and found a zoa "brick" that my girlfriend absolutely fell in love with so I thought I'd share it with you guys. I' shut my lights off on the tank so they're kinda closed but they're green/red and really cool looking. It even came with a bright green mushroom attached to it..

I only have one question..there seems to be something hanging off of it. It resembles what would be a centipede but does not appear to be a worm of any sort? I tried to get a picture of it but my camera right now is only a cell phone.. so is this of any concern from what you know? it is about an inch long insome places while others are less. Here is the best picture I was able to get of it..

You can kind of see it on the right hand side of the picture. Also, I was told to suppliment plankton once a week for my corals is this correct? at what levels do I need to start dosing Ca and Mg?

Can't see what's up in the picture but in all likelihood, you won't need to dose Calcium or Alkalinity. With only zoanthids in your tank your levels can be easily maintained with water changes.

Thanks for the reply! I have more than zoas in my tank. I have a hammer coral and some mushrooms. My phone camera sucks so I'm sorry for picture quality :( I'll try My girlfriends phone tonight abd get a better picture. But I think they are brissleworms. You can kind of see it on the right side in the middle.

I think it's some kind of dead sponge hanging off there, nothing to worry about imo. Those Vietnam zoanthids are usually crawling with nudis though... Chances are pretty good you have some on there.
