How long have you had it and what have you been feeding it? It looks amazing but everything I'm reading says they are very hard to keep.

wut kind of dyi t5 setup do u have? icecaps?
I've had that coral for about 3 months.
I feed a little of everything to the tank.
Phyto, Oysterfest, Cyclo, Rods, Kent zoo
My dyi t5 is pretty down and dirty.
It is a piece of plywood. The reflector is a extension tube
used for skylights unrolled and attached to the wood.
This isn't the best reflector, but it only cost $40.
I constructed it to use 13 36" t5ho. This turned out to be too much light. I am currently only running 10 bulbs.
This is alot for a 40 breeder but my reflector is not as good as individual reflectors.
I'm using fulham workhorse ballasts.
I know these aren't "Proper" t5 ballast, but for the cost I could go wrong.
For example Workhorse 8 ballast can drive 5 t5ho 36" bulbs and costs about $37 bucks.
Using these ballast will effect bulb life, but time will tell to what extent.
