My Norwegian 142g SPS Dominated

I just saw this post! Oh Guttungen so sorry for your loss. After all your work too. So sorry.
But so glad you are staying in reefing. Can't wait to see your new pix

Just read this , man that crash sucks! But hey, now you can create a better display with your super skills and show us all how to recover from a setback. Best of everything to you.

Thank you all for kind words a support.

Starting slowly on my aquascape, using some of my old rocks, that I had going in new water since the crash. Getting a few new kg of Live Rock too. Here is the first layout, still missing some rock at the left.

Reefing is a way of life. No retreat no surrender!
It could actually have been worse. My insurance company says they cover the loss, as a power failure was detected in the area and could be the reason, and the best thing is that my fragg-tank made it. So I tell myself I'm lucky at the end. But still crying a little bit. Thanks for the words m8s

Insurance covers fish and coral? Is it insurance specifically for your fish tank? How do they do a valuation for the size of the coral and types as well as the types of fish?

It was my insurance that covers everything inside my house, included in my union-card. Might have been a bit lucky with the covering due to a failure in the electricity deliverance that might be the course of the disaster. I valued the stock myself, dut got it validated by my LFS.

Some pics from the technical room. Sump and fragg tank. I'm on my way back again :)

Happy you are coming back buddy:)

There is already a frag tank?
Niiiice:thumbsup:

Can i ask for a favour??
Can you please keep the back of the tank, clean this time?:lmao:

Most of the pieces in the fragg tank survived the crash. Lost a few (of my favourites) after the crash, but most survived. Moved them now to a new fragg tank, and I got a new sump up and running. Just a bit more work in the room, and the plumbing up to the main tank and I'm ready to put som fraggs back up.
And yes, I'm still planning to go 4 the shadow box ;)

One step further. The plumbing is done :D

Thanks. I guess that is some kind of Back to Nature slimline background. Followed the tank when I bought it. Kept the background in the corner of the fragg-tank, planning to grow som corals on the wall.
