hey all ok this is how my day was today i walk into the lfs to go look at the fish i seen a brown tang that was the name and if had no fins on it the foxface ate them and i told the guy he told me thats how they look so i think whatever dude. so i keep looking and i seen a mantis in a rock i so i ask how much for the mantis they told me we dont have any mantis shrimp we have pep shrimp so i told him ill take that rock i seen the mantis in it i did not tell him that but yeah it was 12$ for a 5lbs rock and a mantis. so i keep looking i seen a Kole Yellow Eye Tang and i ask how much it was he told me thats a Royal Gramma Basslet so its 13.99$ so i got that to good thing i have a 125gal and then i seen the best fish a Black Longnose Tang and i ask how much is that baby he told me its a Whitecheek Tang lol for 30.00$ dollers a 300.00$ fish for 30.00 i took that so fast so yeah if any of u have a funny story thats true i love it hear them later.

i have two stories....i usually go to the hole in the wall in ny, i'm talking crappy...aitipasia in all the tanks, dirty, no lighting etc...
i saw this zoo covered rock in one of the tanks...large brown zoas, but low and behold on the backside are blue's with brown skirt...i noticed only about two or three open, so they looked like the brown zoas..asked price $30.00 for about a 6x6 rock...took it home in about two days i had about 40 deep blue polyps and the brown zoas have turned pink with olive green mouth and white speckles...next story.. i went to this lfs that just started selling saltwater and their staff doesn't know anything...so i saw a pink/reddish ric...asked the cost he said"well the mushrooms usually go for 20.00" i said the mushroom looks a little stressed how about 15.00...OK...pin/red ric for $15.00

forgot this one....same crappy lfs...saw a rock full of orange rics about 7 but most of them had two or three mouths...went to the manager,"on your website it states mushrooms are 25.00" yes well i like the one in the tank, sent one of his crew to bag it and went home with a nice rock of orange rics...

There's a LFS here that is trying to sell a plain ordinary maroon and blue crocea that is about 4-5 inches long for $120 and a more colorful derasa about the same size for $90.

I had an LFS at idaho saltwater emporium try to sell me a mantis shrimp as a "friendlt communal cleaner". Hehe I would actually like to see the bugger clean my rogue bi-color blenny and 6-line wrasse :)
