It's front to back in my 90 gallon.
Many layers inside, like an onion.Hate to think how much it weighs,or what would happen if it broke.Might have to get fragging again.
I can't fully clean the front glass.
Here's a kind of dark one,but you can see the many layers. It's the only top down I have of it right now.
I must have been blocking the halide a little.
Wow, that is simply stunning! If I may ask, how long have you had it and how big was it when you got it? I am drooling that my little monti cap frags may some day look like that.

I've had it for 3 years now. It's gone from a 55 gallon to my 90 gallon.
The first 1 1/2 years it grew under PC 260 watts.I think that's why it has such an upward appearance.
Both my Hippo and yellow tail damsel call it home.
I'll see it I can find a picture of it when I first got it.
Here's a couple of growth picture.
The very bottom plate in the first picture was the original frag.
Funny the yellow tail was hosting it back then.
One a couple months after I got it.And one back in Aug. 08.
Now it's encrusted the overflow and the front glass.Must eat up a ton of calcium.
