The title says it all. I noticed my peppermint shrimp attacking my ric, and when it opened back up, my poor little Damsel was in one of it mouths!!!:eek2: I have never heard of this happening. Has anyone else? I wish I could have gotten a pic, but the charger to my camera got lost on vacation.

I have a gigantic mushroom that has eaten 3 barbershop gobies over the past year. Ive never heard of a ric doing that before but im sure its possible. Saltwater tanks teach me something new just about everyday.

My first thought was...."and that's a bad thing?":p

Sorry.....I've had rics eat smaller things like asterina stars but never a fish.

My first thought was can I borrow it I have a few pink Damsels I need to get out of the tank My lesson is take the fish that u use to cycle a tank out before you put everything in.

It definately has to be the easiest way to get a Damsel out of a tank. Alright, I will rent it out to anyone that needs rid of a Damsel:D I just thought it was pretty odd that a ric would eat an entire live fish. At least now, I don't have to take the tank down just to get the damsel out when I get tired of it.

You don't think it was dead already do you? I find it hard to believe a ricordea can catch a damsel. They aren't exactly slow or weak and they don't have a habit of sitting on corals.

Thats what I'm wondering Mike. He was fine when I looked at him earlier in the day, and then I come home to see this. Guess what! I found the charger to my camera. But it's way too late.
