zalmaxiss, thanks for the compliment! I run my UV light 18 hours a day from 6a to midnight 7 days a week.

Hey Simon, how much flow would you say you have in your system? I've read the thread but don't remember. I love the flow you have from the videos! I'm getting ready to drill a new 220 for a bean animal overflow but can't decide if I want to use 1" bulkheads or jump up to 1.5". They are pretty big, but I don't want to short myself either. Thanks in advance! You have a great system!

Scodiddy, I use a Reeflo Blowhole 1450 pump for return which theoretically gives me 1400gph at max setting. Since the pump has to raise the water up by about 5 feet to the display tank and I also divert some of the return water to GFO, carbon, calcium, and UV reactors, I would say the flow thru the DT is about 700gph. Keep in mind I have two MP40s and recently added a WP25 for water movement in my tank.

Would your stand design be stable enough for a 7ft wide, 2ft deep, 3ft high tank?
