Hey everyone,
So recently I purchased a purple tipped condy anemone. I drip acclimated it for 30-40min, and then put it in the tank and allowed it to attach to a rock before turning on power heads and pumps. I also recently bought some frags so my lighting is going thru an acclimation cycle. All water parameters are within range for my inhabitants.
After I put the Condy in the water it slowly moved to a protected area under some live rock. The tentacles shrunk and it excreted all internal water. I know this behavior is standard and it has since filled back up. I have fed it some brine shrimp and the mouth isn't gaping open or open at all unless I feed it of course. My question is when will my condy adjust to the tank and start moving around?
I cannot get good pics of it as I can barely see it.
