My RBTA will not move.

I cant get my anemone to move out of this shell. The first day i got him he went into this shell and 8 months later he is still in it. I am worried about the waste he is creating and blocking inside it. sometimes he retreated back into the shell and comes back out with a dark brown mucus like material covering him and then it gets removed by the current and just goes all over my tank

any suggestions??

he knows what's better for him than we do i would believe. let him be but thats what i would do

or aim the water pump to it, that will make him move.

Be glad the anemone is stationary. That is a good sign. If it were unhappy it would move.

If your anemone isn't moving is because it's happy where it is at. So I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.
