Two books I highly recommend for fish diseases and parasites are:

Fish Disease: Diagnosis and Treatment by Dr. Edward J Noga.

Captive Seawater Fishes: Science and Technology by Dr. Stephen Spotte

While not the easiest reading, they are both superb.

The price of the first book on Amazon.co.uk is very stiff, £93. The second one is even more expensive, £161. I will try to source them second hand.

They can be found second hand. Amazon sometimes has them as does ebay. However if you are planning to be in this hobby long term, I highly recommend them.
