Hey guys
So i moved away from home due to work, and my gf is now taking care of our fishes. She knows the basic and i trust her handling the stuff.
I visit back home 1-2 times a month and i was just there the other day and all of my SPS corals were dying. My montiporas were white, some acro are turning white.
And i have ALOT of hair algae.
I dint have time to test, so my gf did it for me.
Po4 0.08ppm
Nitrate 0.0 ppm
Amonia 0
Calcium 490
Alkalinity 10.4dkh
Ph She forgot to test :/
I made up 120L of fresh saltwater to try and get the Po4 down, we have been battling it for the last few weeks and it looks like it will never go down. I have tried with Seachem products, Rawphos and RedSea, but it will never go below 0.08ppm and algae is growing like nothing.
We do have 3 other tanks that have zero algae in it, that we feed as many times if not more due to 2 of them being for breeding.
System is a 530L with 112L sump.
Any idea what could be up? And why my phosphate is acting crazy.
