This is my first order with Blue Zoo Aquatics. I had read some bad reviews, but they were the first "big" online supplier I came across that had a Ritteri. I bit the bullet, hoped for the best, and ordered.
Order was placed Monday night, asking for Weds delivery. Got an immediate "Order received" email. I heard nothing until late Tuesday night stating "the order had shipped".
Order arrived this morning at 10:00 AM via FedEx. Here are my thoughts:
-Very well packaged. Included in the styrofoam container was a drip acclimation line w/ suction cup, acclimation directions, a plastic dropper containing a "blue liquid for stress reduction", and a sample of their fish/coral food. They also suggested using the styrofoam container as a acclimation bucket sinc eit is "sterile", never contained any foreign materials/liquids. Very good idea!
After acclimating and releasing, I am impressed! Here is my order:
Tonga Super Green Mushroom, Actinodiscus spp., Small 4-6 Poylps, Tonga 1 1 $ 39.95
$ 39.95
Contained 7 polyps
2
004621 Acropora-Turquoise, Acropora spp., Tiny: up to 2.5", Fiji 1 1 $ 39.95
$ 39.95
If this is "tiny", WTH is huge? This Acro is over 3" tall and 4" wide
3
003166 Ritteri Anemone , Heteractis magnifica, Medium: over 3-4", Indo Pacific 1 1 $ 59.95
$ 59.95
I am not an anemone expert, but this specimen looks great, and is nearly 6" across after introduction to the tank.
4
003277 Astraea Snail, Astraea tecta, .5"-1", Caribbean 2 2 $ 1.95
$ 3.90
Bah...they are snails Bought to spend a couple extra bucks to receive free shipping.
I will update in a few days when everybody is settled, but this may be my BEST order I have ever received from an online vendor. I will definately be a repeat buyer!
