My second clam

I started with a Deresa 3 months ago and just felt like it was the time to get another. Hopefully I can find a nice maxima soon.

It looks like that crocea is on bare bottom.
Would this not cause a problem since croceas like to bore thier foot into something, be it sand or rock?

The crocea just sits on its flat bottom shell and has not moved a bit. The Deresa likes to lay somewhat sideways at night and sits back up during the day. I have debated putting some sand in the front for them. The tank has been BB since it was started 3 1/2 years ago and I hate to change something that has given me so little trouble.
