So I have never seen this before. My blond tang as of 6 hours ago was swimming, grazing, and being normal. A few minutes ago I was watching the tank and my tang came out of his normal den tucked his face under a rock shook like crazy and died. There is no sign of trauma. He does share the den with a purple lobster, but they have lived together for 6-7 months. Ijust checked my water yesterday. 90 gallon show, 30 gallon sump, temp at 74, pH 8.2 , ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 0-5.0 salt level 1.021. tank mates are 2 clowns,2 wrasses, squirrel fish, 2 cardinals, bta and a seabae on the opposite side of the tank, and 4 turbo snails. His dorsal fin is rigid like immediate rigger has set in. Anyone else have this happen. I'm so bummed!!
