My Shrooms don't open well

I've always have this problem in my aquarium, mushrooms and ricordias don't open well, they remain small.

I have them under 15000k T5 with individual reflectors at the bottom of the tank. I don't know what's the problem. Other corals do excellent.

My rics and shrroms are 1/2 way up the reef under direct MH's and they open great. Have you attempted to move them closer to the light? Mine were under PC lighting until about a week ago when I upgraded and while they did open under PC lighting the difference under MH was dramatic.

Have you checked your mag levels? I was having a problem until I fixed my Mag level. Other corals didn't seem to care as much about the mag as the shoos. Now that my mag is right I have some of them that have had babies and the babies have moved to a spot with almost no light and in 8 weeks are the size of a half dollar.

Also they seem to be a little sensitive to higher levels of strontium.

Remember the economy is in the pits and so is just about every salt mix. Companies are cutting costs.
