Well, I've posted a few threads in the past asking for help with my Fuji FinePix S5100. I've gotten a little better, but it's literally taken thousands of pictures to get less than 50 good ones. Here is what I have so far. The quality isn't as good because I cropped the pictures to what I was originally aiming for. I hope that you enjoy.

My first Zoanthids. They were Green Skirt, Orange Mouth, and Light Blue Center. But they've developed this lovely pattern now.

You should invest in a good tripod. It'd take those shots to the next level.

Thanks beerguy. I have one, but this camera, for me, is just so extremely hard to get it to manually focus with all the buttons you have to hold/push. When I took these pictures, I had my adapter lense against the glass to keep my camera steady. I wished it was as simple as not being still enough. :(

practice, practice, and more practice.

'film is cheap' ... time/life photographers routinely shot in excess of 50,000 images at the presidential national conventions to use less than 20 for publication.
