My skimmer is going crazy

Skimmer is skimming very wet at it's lowest setting. I am filling 2 collection cups a day. I have not added or changed anything. Any ideas?

need some basic information. Make? Model? installation location? Mods of any sort?

coralife 125 modded with a sedra 3500. It is fed from my overflow. I don't really think it's the skimmer though. I have had it for a while and it worked just fine.
