My Snowflakes are Picking at the Rock Work...

Ian

I <3 Corals!
I got a pair of 'bonded' snowflake clowns that had supposedly been laying for the original owner. His tank cracked and another guy got the clowns. He got impatient and sold the pair to me. I bought them as a 'bonded' pair rather than a 'breeding' pair as the guy I got them from had never witnessed them lay.

The other day I noticed both of them picking at the rock work, isn't that a sign that they might lay? That's why they're cleaning a spot off on the rocks?

If they lay I definitely want to try my hand at raising them, can anyone link me to a good thread on breeding clowns? Everything from feeding, producing food and raising fry. If anyone is aware of a thread and can post it here I'd really appreciate it :D

between a few threads in this forum, my biggest help came from the book Clownfishes by Joyce Wilkerson. it is a great read on raisning clowns IMO it si an older book but much is the same.
