My soft coral dominated tank.

Very nice Yikai! A beautiful tank doesn't always have to be full op SPS :) I can imagine it has to look even more beautiful sitting in front of it with all the movement of the corals in the flow.

yep. with all the hype on SPS, i decided it would be fun to go against the norm, and do the exact opposite lol. the movement is very nice especially with the wavebox. methodical swaying is very pleasing i must say. softies paved the way for beginners, but are neglected once reefers advance to SPS standards. I on the other hand, never forgot my roots and want to showcase them in their own beauty.

Very beautiful!

thanks ritten!

I am with you on the softies, they are often looked down on but a proper display can hold its own against an SPS tank any day. Good work =]

thank you everyone for the comments. will be going overseas for 3 weeks. let's hope it will remain the same when i get back :{

Good luck being gone. Do you have someone to help with the tank or is it all automated?

What size tank is it?

beautiful aquarium and fish!!Well done!! What is the lifespan of those fairy wrasses ? and i assume you have a cover or net over the aquarium?

your tank is pretty fantastic I'm your fan!!!!
I'm agree with you, soft corals are beatuful but they are not appreciated.

nowaday most of people only consider sps. this is a big error in my opinion.

hi everyone, i have problems logging in to my other account, so i created a new one. I don't know if it's against the rules to have multiple accounts? But i won't be using this to do any "crimes".

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. The tank was fine when i came back from the 3 week trip. My spawning pair of rhomboids are dead though :( It had a bad fight with my pylei out of the blue and did not make it. Really sad. I'm not sure if anyone else has ever had a rhomboid spawn before. Mine was the only pair as far as i know.

The tank has been tore down, fishes and corals sold. I'm looking at upgrading the tank to a larger 183 gallon one. 3.5ft x 3.5ft x 2ft. The tank will be arriving this coming wednesday.

Soft corals are still number one and will always have a place in my heart. Stay tuned for the new tank!
