My SPS aquarium

Hi All,

Just an update on how my aquarium is going, I have tried a video to hopefully show how the colours and growth have come along in a year.

I seem to keep water parameters lot more stable now. Alkalinity 8.3, Calcium 440, Nitrate 5ppm, Phosphate 0.03, Salinity 1.026. I still have trouble with rising PO4 and I am using a cup full of rowaphos every 3 weeks.

I have added more fish within the year and I have been feeding heavy with 2 feedings of pellets and 2 frozen cubes per day.

I now maintain a 200ltr NSW water change every 2 weeks and my how the corals seem to love that.

I have added a Maxspect Gyre XF-150 Generator and removed the cheap Chinese wave makers, I now seem to get better polyp extension and the feeding mode is great as I don't see any pellets being uneaten.

The most important things I've learnt is to keep parameters as stable as possible and don't chase numbers, feed a lot more but make sure you keep up with export of nutrients as well. Stop putting your hands in the tank and changing things, just let it grow.

Once again a big thanks for all the advice I have been given on here, I hope the video works :)
