my SS died..

The motor took a shi* .. Anyone has one that is not in used?? Can I borrow it while waiting for Paul to get back to me?? It's one of the primary device in my tank. Thanks

don't know... it makes noise and that's about it. I think one of the gear inside the motor is broken or something.

There's no gear in there. I've open this up, it's a magnetic motor if I remember correctly. U should be able to pop it up real easy. Just clean the debris inside the drum.

It's the motor dude. I took it apart already. I tested the motor alone and it didn't spin.

Phong, have you called Paul (I think that's his name) from OM? He's a great person to deal with. Give him a call to have your SS fixed / replaced.

I did email him last night. Hopefully he won't ask me to send the dead back before sending me the replacement. A lot of company does that. The SS is part of my return setup. If I remove the motor, I would have to redo the plumbing for the return. I don't really want to do that .. I'm talking (email) to him now. I will let you guy know watzup .

The timing is bad, but I've only good things about their customer service. I do want to get a spare 4-way someday, in case this happens to me.

All the reports I've heard, Paul simply sends a new motor and didn't require the dead one back. His customer service is at IceCap levels :lol: really good

They are sending me the replacement motor. Because of the holiday and weather delay, I won't get it until the 26th. Talking about awesome service!!
