My sun polyps love me!

Ok, maybe it's that I love my sun polyps! It took them a good two weeks to open up fully so I could do some good feedings, but now they open up everytime I feed the tank or even have my hands in there to move frags. Now my questions, how do I know how much to feed them? I've been feeding 2 cubes of mysis with each feeding, but the polyps are still wide open after that. I think they'd take more (each polyp is getting 1 to 4 mysis (plus whatever drifts their way, I'm target feeding this amount though). The rock has 7 small colonies of polyps on it, there is one cluster that still doesn't open but I figure they will soon. It amazes me how large the polyps swell when they are feeding--they look gorgeous!

i think 2 to 3 cubes of mysis and feeding the whole colony will be fine every couple of days.. be sure to try and feed them all.. mine get huge when feeding too, they are awesome..

feed them every day @ around the same time even when they're not open. Do this for a few days in a row and you'll notice them opening up @ those hours for your enjoyment even without feeding. :)

Well i must say that there is no real trouble now, as my sun coral has passed on to another place. I dont understand it. I did everything that i was supposed to do. Proper lighting and flow, calc supplements, target feeding it mysis. I DEDICATED at least 45 minutes to JUST this coral everyday. Yet, to my dismay, it still died. I am not the only one that has had troulble keeping them apparently. After scanning the threads, i see where others had some sort of problem with them either not lasting that long or messing up their water parameters. I dont know. Can someone please help me figure out what i did wrong? I love the way the sun corals look/act and wish to keep another one but i am not going to if i cant keep it alive. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

Yeah igot mine on sunday and mine havent opened. I just started to try and target feed them some PhytoPlex and Zooplex. Ill let you know what happens next
