my tank crashed last night, corals now for FREE

Hi all,

I crashed my tank last night due to a kalkwasser reactor I was setting up. The reactor dump a can of picklime lime into my main tank lost all my fish. Some of the corals are still okay.

So any one interested drop my my house and pick the corals you want for FREE. When you drop by bring saltwater to put the corals cause the water in my temporary tank where I put my corals is not good.

I tried to do lot of water change last night but to no avail. Can't get all the pickling lime media out from my tank.

The accident happened yesterday afternoon when I was setting up a kalkwasser reactor. The kalkwasser reactor was actually a calcium reactor which I just converted to a KR. Unfortunately, I left the setup momentarily to spend some time with my son to train him how to ride bike on two wheels. When I got back to finish the setup I saw the tank already in milk color.

You can setup another tank and put the coral in there for temporary. if you need the equipment I have everything man...

Hi Everyone,

Got the first pm from Duy. He will be holding the corals for me. This would make a lot easier for me to get a clone of my corals when they'll all in one place.

I could definately feel your pain as I had a similar accident a month or two ago. At the time I thought I lost all my sps but the monti are still going strong and some of the acro and the millie actually came back. I hope yours will make the same come back. Good luck.

Sorry that happened man, but I'm glad someone is holding your corals rather than you just giving it all away, as those are some nice pieces.

Lets just hope whomever is holding them can keep them

Some of these corals actually rescued from Jorge's tank who had the same accident; and all the corals I got from him recovered in my tank.

I might take a vacation for few months from this hobby and to recoperate. And I need to think when I come back whether I should keep my current 90g or upgrade to 300g.
