Willember,....try and remove those baby snails. They're not good. They're called pyramidellid snails. See if you can syphon them out.
Your rock looks fantastic!

there are probably 200 of them. how do you get them out?

See if you can siphon them out. You probably won't be able to get all of them, but try and get as many as possible.

I sent pictures to Richard at TBS and to Dr. Ron here at RC and between thier responses I will just leave them be...

pyramidellid snails will eat the soft tissue of whatever the host animal is, eventually killing it. Sometimes it is another type of snail. Sometimes and oyster or clam. (AFAIK) But it seems that just being tiny doesn't mean that they are Pyrams. Dr. Ron said he doubted that they were. In another post he said there were no black pyrams. And Richard at TBS said not to worry about it.

I still can't believe I waited 5+ months for gulf rock, was told I shouldn't bother waiting anymore and should just get keys rock and then a week and a half after I got my keys rock they started shipping gulf rock again! Arg! Oh well.

willember thats an awesome brain coral you got!
