my Tomato's

so my new Tomato's......
I got 2, same time and they are in QT while my display is cycling out disease.
hoping they will bond.
they are very close in size. one is a smidge bigger and has the darker shading on sides, where the slightly smaller one is much more of a uniform color.

they have been together about 3 weeks now. I have seen the charges by the one I think is female and the submissive behavior of what I think is the male.
I have seen twitching by M, but seems F turns away just as he does it. don't know whether she notices.
they don't sleep together, but no hardcore fights at all. they eat together no sweat, and they seem to get frisky with each other right after. he seems timid about entering her area. ( the big PVC elbow) she will dart toward him and veer away at the last second. no biting, no nipping, no locking of jaws. sometimes she will halt the charge where they are face to face.

hoping they are bonding and not just tolerating each other

It sounds like things are proceeding as they should. I have no doubt that she notices his behavior, and that they will eventually start hanging out closer to each other. Now it will just take some patience and time

so then the morning after my original post, I get up for work, and it appears they are sleeping together. and again, yesterday, sleeping together. I get home from work for feed and female seems to have much more aggressive approach. they did even lock jaws for the first time I know of, but so briefly before the male ran off to his safe zone.

get up this morning, sleeping together again. :crazy1:
